Intensive care of infants with HLHS
Here is a good article prepared by the doctors at the Intensive Care Unit, Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne, Australia. It includes information about the RV-PA modified Norwood.
This is my Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome blog. Its just a general collection of links that I've come across which address many different aspects of HLHS and other forms of congenital heart disease. I initially decided to start this blog so that I'd have access to these links, some of them being very hard to find, from any computer. Also so that I could share the links with other parents and caregivers who might be interested.

This article may be useful in helping parents who got the diagnosis in-utero to make an educated decision to deliver in a hospital setting, as opposed to a home birth and then waiting for signs of distress in the infant to manifest before heading to a hospital.
To quote:
"Early intervention with prostaglandin maximises systemic perfusion, and optimises the condition of the infant before surgery."
